Uptown Problems
I wish I had the time and focus to really blog more on what's going on in the world. I'm working on a few creative projects that basically suck the life out of me, even when they don't take up all my time.
Last night, I read this article on the LAT website that really pushed me into my red zone. Then, I went to sleep and had the most jumbled, angry dreams I've had in a long time. I ended up sleeping about 5 hours and I'm ready to rumble!! Good thing today was planned as a stay-at-home day.
Still, these are uptown problems. I know it. Anytime you can get angry over abstract concepts that have as their worst consequence that people will just remain middle-class, you've got uptown problems. When I was in college there was this whole debate about the "crisis in literature." The first time I heard this I almost spit. I won't gratify the idiot over at the LAT with a link to his article, but he knows who he is....
